Mouchel having provided client side project management throughout the master planning, pre-construction and construction phases of the development of Corby Cube, Lamb & Partners was engaged to give impartial contractual advice to Corby Borough Council as to how they might diffuse a claim for increased fees from one of the project consultants. The work involved a thorough examination of the contract particulars and how they related to the specific claim, external consultation with lawyers in order to better advise the client as to their options and the likely outcome of each. It is believed that the advice given enabled the Council to resolve the dispute with the consultant concerned amicably and in a timely manner. Corby Cube
