Lamb & Partners were contracted to the ‘Reliance / Steria’ bid team to provide an estate rationalisation strategy and execution methodology as part of this combined offering bid to take over the running of Lincolnshire Police’s non-core services under an outsourcing strategy. The client operated from a huge number of small rural police stations as well as some larger buildings, such as their Head Quarters in Nettleham to the East of Lincoln and the strategy sought to replace some of the part time operational police stations with a mobile service operating the same opening hours, in order to capitalise costly revenue assets and consolidate operational teams and back of house services in office environments, where a better utilisation of the space could be achieved by embracing a ‘New Ways of Working’ ethos across the County’s police service.
